When Andrew Burton Wisdom was born on December 20, 1880, in Oklahoma, his father, William, was 32 and his mother, Octavia, was 26. He had seven sons with Lillie Dora Giraudin between 1911 and 1926. He died on January 26, 1962, in Wilbarger, Texas, at the age of 81, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
