Dbl stone w/Lula M. Flock
Services were held Saturday for Perryton's Melvin Herbert FLOCK,81, who died Wednesday in Ochiltree General Hospital.
Mr. FLOCK had been a resident of Perryton for 20 years, having moved to this area from Siloam Springs, Arkansas, in 1960. He was employed by Phillips Petroleum until his retirement.
Mr. FLOCK was born in Joplin, Missouri, on December 20, 1898. He married Lula PHEBUS on May 19, 1921, in Beaver, Oklahoma.
Mr. FLOCK is survived by his wife Lula of Perryton; a brother, Chester of Rosemead, Cal.; and two sisters, Blanche REED of Los Angeles, and Cecil TAYLOR of Oklahoma City.
Services were conducted by Boxwell Brothers, with burial in Darrouzett Cemetery. Minister was Rec. Harrol Waterbury of Perryton's Full Gospel Church, assisted by Rev. Don Travis of the Post, Texas, United Methodist church.
Pallbearers were Russell GILGER, Joe ROBINS, Ed BURTON, Merle CROSS, Ray WYMAN and John RAGAN.
