Funeral services were held in Darrouzett Wednesday for Danny Lawrence FOSTER, who was killed instantly by an explosion of a tank truck at a lease north of Darrouzett. He was 41 years old.

He was employed by the O&B Tank Co. and was in the truck while working on a oil lease on the Raymond Harper farm seven miles north of Darrouzett. His death came 19 days before his 42nd birthday.

He was born Nov. 22, 1927 on a farm five miles north of Darrouzett to Myrtle Mae and Jules Verne FOSTER. In 1929 his parents moved to a farm near Sunset, Okla., where he grew to manhood. He attended grade school at Sunset School and graduated from Darrouzett high school in 1946.

He was married on Dec. 16, 1949 to Eleanor Mae BREAMES in Philip, S. D. After their marriage they made their home in the Sunset community where they managed the Capital Hill store. They moved after a year to Milesville, S. D., where they were engaged in farming and ranching.

The family moved to Philip, S. D. in 1960 where they operated a cafe and service station.

In 1966, the family returned to Darrouzett where he took a job with the O and B Tank Co., living there at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; his children, Deborah, Darryl, Karen and Susan of the home; his father, Verne FOSTER of Truth or Consequences. N. M.; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice GETZ of Oklahoma City and Mrs. James LOFLAND of El Paso; three brothers, Don FOSTER, A. V. FOSTER of Normangee, Texas and Virgil FOSTER of Pasadena, Texas; his mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred BREAMES of Philip, S. D.
