When Orlin Linor Brewer was born on June 25, 1926, in Olton, Texas, his father, William, was 38 and his mother, Marjorie, was 29. He had five siblings. He died on April 26, 1986, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 59, and was buried there.

Bonny Lynn Brewer, 89 of Vernon, Texas died on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in Vernon, Texas.
Services will be Monday, July 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Bonny was born Wednesday, July 3, 1929 in Pampa, Texas; she was the daughter of the late L.W. Hardcastle and the late Katherine Love Hardcastle. She married Orlin L. Brewer on June 30, 1953 in Tulia, TX. he preceded her in death April 26, 1986. She received her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from Mary Harden Baylor University. She was a school teacher in Tulia before moving to Vernon in January 1962 and she taught in Oklaunion School for a short time. She was a second grade teacher for Vernon ISD. She taught piano lesson in Leveland, TX and she was the church pianist in Leveland. She was a member of Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vernon, and Women's Choir. She was a homemaker.
Bonny is survived by her two sons, Brett Brewer of Leander, TX and Bruce Brewer of Vernon, TX; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 5:00 to 7:00 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church, Orlin Brewer Scholarship at Vernon College or Alzheimer Association.
