Funeral Mass for Julian "Julio" Jimenez age 84, of Seminole, Texas, will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Boyer Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. with Deacon Ramon Almager officiating. Rosary will be held at Boyer Funeral Home on July 18, 2016 at 7 pm. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole, Texas.
Julian Jimenez was born January 9, 1932 in Waco, Texas to Augustina (Leva) and Cosme Jimenez and was lovingly called Julio by all who knew him. Julio was a Catholic and loved his family dearly; his passion was waking up early and he was always known as an early riser. He enjoyed walking in the morning air and checking his garden, which he tended regularly, before getting his day started; Julio was always moving and liked to stay busy throughout the day.
Mr. Jimenez passed away on July 15, 2016 at his home in Seminole, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Julian Jimenez is survived by two sons, Santiago Jimenez of Odessa, Texas and Cosme Jimenez and wife Hope of Brownfield, Texas; three daughters, Sylvia Flores of Lubbock, Texas, Pauline Martinez of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Yolanda Flores and husband Luz of Seminole, Texas ; 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
