When Annie lee Cornell Bingham was born in July 1884 in Texas, her father, James, was 24, and her mother, Josephine, was 17. She married David Emmett (Emmitt) Powell on June 7, 1900, in Navarro, Texas. They had five children in 20 years. She died on October 16, 1963, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 79, and was buried there.

When William Bell Bingham was born on January 11, 1878, in USA, her father, Francis, was 33, and her mother, Sarah, was 22. She had four brothers and one sister. She died on March 13, 1962, in Wichita, Texas, at the age of 84, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
