When Albert Lee Earthman was born on January 18, 1922, in Colorado, his father, Ernest, was 28 and his mother, Earlia, was 21. He married Mary Catherine Sparks in 1974. They had three children during their marriage. He died on September 13, 1974, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 52, and was buried there.
