When Buster Barton was born on August 24, 1915, in Cumby, Texas, his father, Henry, was 26 and his mother, Ollie, was 20. He had two children with Meda Faye (Barton,Hathcoat,Farmer,Sparkman) Mathews and one other child. He died on May 30, 1993, in New Caney, Texas, at the age of 77, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
