When George F Martin was born on June 1, 1881, in Parker, Texas, his father, Joseph, was 26 and his mother, Mary, was 26. He married Rosa Lee King on October 5, 1902, in his hometown. They had five children in 11 years. He died on January 26, 1963, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 81.
