Addie Lee Bachman, 70, died Monday, October 23, 1995 in Wichita Falls hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Bruns, pastor of Peace Lutheran Church in Vernon, and the Rev. Keith Palmquist officiating. Interment will be in Wilbarger Memorial Park.

She was born Oct. 24, 1924 in Bonham, Texas a daughter of the late Albert Graninger and Leona Whaley Graninger. She was married to Walter Herman (Jack) Bachman on Oct. 7, 1939 in Vernon.

She had been a resident of Wilbarger County most of her life and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She was a retired employee of Vernon State Hospital.

Surviving are her husband, of Vernon; two daughters, Janet VanStory of Lubbock and Laura Bacon of Waco; one brother J.D. Graninger of Levelland; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Loretta Bachman Johnston in 1970 and by one son, Roy Leon Bachman, in 1964.

the family will be at Sullivan Funeral Home from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Don Butler, Randy Castleberry, Harlan Screws, Alvin Graf, John Carson and Paul Gerald.

Memorial may be made to the Vernon Fire Department.
