Imogene Phipps, 97 of Kennedale, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Kennedale, Texas.
Services were held Saturday January 13, 2018 at 10;00 am at the Wilbarger Memorial Park in Vernon Texas under the direction of the Sullivan Funeral Home.
Imogene was born Wednesday, December 15, 1920 in Olney, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Hennig and the late Willie Self. Imogene married Clois E. Phipps on June 04, 1950. He preceded her in death June 06, 2001.Imogene was a graduate from Weatherford College and became a 4th grade teacher for many years, and later became the receptionist for the M & S Clinic. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was involved with the Amigos Sunday School Class and the Circle of Women Prayer Group.
Surviving are two daughters, Jan Phipps of Arlington, Texas and Judy Morrison and husband Kent of Dalhart Texas; 3 grandchildren Juliana Morrison, Jena Geary and husband Dennis, and Elaena Morrison. And 1 great grandchild. Perry Claire.
