When Robert Sanders Jasper was born on February 16, 1894, in Memphis, Texas, his father, Andrew, was 42 and his mother, Mary, was 35. He married Edna Davenport on October 17, 1915, in Clay, Texas. He died in January 1964 in Colorado at the age of 69.
