When Thomas Dawson Beach was born on May 2, 1903, in Hereford, Texas, his father, William, was 43 and his mother, Zelida, was 41. He married Stella Gribble on March 20, 1926, in Wilbarger, Texas. They had two children during their marriage. He died on April 5, 1983, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 79.
