When Edmund Pinkney Burelsmith was born on June 29, 1893, in Mitchell, Texas, his father, Robert, was 37 and his mother, Ada, was 23. He married Mary Kathlene White on December 3, 1916, in Wilbarger, Texas. They had four children in 10 years. He died in 1960 in Wilbarger, Texas, at the age of 68.
