When Morris Emanuel Vessels was born on March 15, 1907, in Honey Grove, Texas, his father, Emmanuel, was 37 and his mother, Nancy, was 31. He married Sibbye Cleo Poynter and they had three children together. He then married Delores Maerine KIDWELL on April 4, 1980, in Wilbarger, Texas. He died on August 2, 1998, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 91, and was buried there.
