When Dale D Dillingham was born on July 26, 1902, in Callahan, Texas, his father, William, was 30 and his mother, Sara, was 27. He married Mary Myrtle Kelso on May 12, 1928, in Abilene, Texas. They had three children during their marriage. He died on April 2, 1966, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 63, and was buried there.
