DARROUZETT – Funeral services for Mrs. Ettie Belle PUGH, 71-year-old Lipscomb county pioneer, were held Saturday at the Methodist church in Darrouzett with the Rev. A. Blair Grugg officiating. Burial was in the Lipscomb cemetery.
Mrs. PUGH died last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jean TRIMBLE in Seminole.
She is survived by two sons, Clyde and Jay, both of Darrouzett; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde TARBOX of Perryton and Mrs. Jean TRIMBLE of Seminole; two sisters, Mrs. R. D. STEPENSON of Perryton and Mrs. Martin McCARTOR of Perryton.
Pall bearers were William TERREL, I. M. ROPER, Charley PHILLIPS, Alex WHEATLEY, Rodney WHEATLEY, and Delmar CLARK.
Mrs. PUGH was born in Tarrant county, Texas January 13, 1879. She was reared in Tarrant county, and was married to the late John B. PUGH at Lipscomb in 1906. Following their marriage the couple moved to Tarrant county, later returning to Lipscomb county to make their home near Darrouzett. Mr. PUGH died in 1932, but Mrs. PUGH continued to make her home on the farm until two years ago when she went to Seminole to make her home with her daughter.
Mrs. PUGH was a member of the Darrouzett Methodist church, and her principal interests were her home and family.
