LIPSCOMB - Marie Schneider, 91, died Monday, May 10, 2010, in Canadian.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lipscomb Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Thiessen, officiating. Arrangements are by Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian.
Marie was born July 30, 1918, in Lipscomb County to the late Mr. Clarence Case Sr. and Mrs. Martha Hoeffliger Case. She attended grammar schools at Lone Star Country School and Plum Creek Country School in Lipscomb County and was a graduate of Lipscomb High School. She was married to Ruben Schneider. He preceded her in death in March of 1985. Marie was a homemaker and a farmer. She was also a lifelong resident of Lipscomb County.
Survivors include her brother, Clarence Case Jr. and wife Elma Lue of Lipscomb; a niece, Carol Cole and husband Charles of Van Alstyne; a nephew, Gene Laubhan and wife Kenda of Amarillo; and her late nephew's wife, Wilma Laubhan of Amarillo.
The family suggests memorials be to Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 South Fourth St., Canadian, TX 79014; or to Edward Abraham Memorial Home, 803 Birch St., Canadian, TX 79014.
