When William Forrest Baber was born on April 26, 1918, in Wichita Falls, Texas, his father, William, was 29 and his mother, Mary, was 26. He married Grace Rebecca Warman on August 12, 1938, in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage. He died on December 18, 1993, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 75, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
