Funeral Mass for Angelita Gonzales Saldana, 77, will be celebrated Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the St. James Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. Angelita passed away Sunday, May 29 in Lubbock.

Angelita was born April 13, 1939 in South Texas to Jose and Otilia Benavides Gonzales. Angelita and Wilfredo Saldana were married for 46 years. She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church and the Guadalupana, enjoyed growing flowers and had been a housekeeper.

Angelita is survived by:
Her husband Steve Saldana of Seminole;
Five sons, Juan Jimenez of Waco, David Jimenez of Seminole, Mario Jimenez of Odessa, Paul Jimenez of Odessa, and Estevan Saldana Jr. of Seminole;
Four daughters, Otilia Jimenez of Seminole, Angie Onitiveros of Denver City, Nancy Tarango of Midland, Elaine Saldana of Midland;
Two brothers, Jesse Gonzales of Seminole, Gilbert Gonzales of Dallas;
Four sisters, Mary Cardona of Levelland, Nora Higgins of Dallas, Dora Gonzales of Dallas, and Emma Frier of Tatum, New Mexico;
Twenty-five grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral Mass for Wilfrido Steve Saldana, 77, of Seminole were celebrated on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in the St. James Catholic Church. Interment followed in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. He passed away Friday, October 28th in Seminole.

Steve was born October 12, 1939 in San Marcos to Dario and Isabel Saldana. Steve and Angelita Gonzales were married for 46 years, she preceded him in death on May 29, 2016. He was a member of the St. James Catholic Church and had been employed by South Plains Implement.

Steve is survived by six sons Estevan Saldana, Jr. of Seminole, Juan Jimenez of Waco, David Jimenez of Seminole, Mario Jimenez of Odessa, Paul Jimenez of Odessa, and Mario Alberto Saldana of San Antonio; four daughters Nancy Tarango of Midland, Elaine Saldana of Midland, Angie Ontiveros of Denver City, and Otilia Jimenez of Seminole; one brother Joe Saldana of Seminole; one sister Victoria Gonzales of Seminole; 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
