When Herbert Yost was born on August 12, 1904, in Fannin, Texas, his father, Wilburn, was 21 and his mother, Glathey, was 17. He had one daughter with Minnie Mae Moses in 1931. He died on May 13, 1989, in Wichita, Texas, at the age of 84.
