LIPSCOMB - Mona LaVaun BUSSARD, 80, died Sunday, December 22, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Lipscomb Cemetery with Donald Hill, minister of the River Church in Canadian, officiating. Arrangements are by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Mrs. BUSSARD was born in Lipscomb County to Bill and Leora TURNER. She married John HILL on August 31, 1940. He died in 1947. She then married Jim BUSSARD on May 5, 1953.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Beatrice "Appie" ROGERS and Mary Margaret TETER.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Lane HILL and wife, Brenda, of Darrouzett and Lance BUSSARD of Lipscomb; a daughter, LaVaun KRAFT and husband, Merle, of Lipscomb; two brothers, Kenzy TURNER and Kay TURNER, both of Lipscomb; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
