Services for Charlie Louis Krenek, 79, of Cameron were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Monica's Catholic Church of Cameron with the Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating.
Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron.
Burial was in St. Monica's Cemetery at Cameron. He died Sunday at the Ad Hall community near Cameron.
Mr. Krenek was born in Czechoslovakia. He was a mechanic. He was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council No. 2338 of Cameron.
Survivors are two sons, Louis Krenek and Chuck Krenek, both of Cameron; one daughter, Lydia Elliott of Bastrop; one brother, John Krenek of Cameron; four sisters, Mary Svetlik of Lake Jackson, Kristina Tobolka of Granger, Albina DuBois of San Antonio and Lydia All of Lima, Ohio; six grandchildren. and two great-grandchildren.
