When Wilbert Arnold Kieschnick was born on July 21, 1920, in Vernon, Texas, his father, William, was 31 and his mother, Bertha, was 26. He married Mildred Ruth Foerster on November 22, 1945, in his hometown. They had three children during their marriage. He died on October 17, 1985, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 65.
