The Henry H. Terry family came to Lipscomb County in 1904 from their homestead in Oklahoma, traveling in 2 covered wagons and a buggy. Mr. Terry was a rancher and a teacher. Some of the older Terry children remained in Oklahoma but the two younger daughters, Eva and Mary (Pink) came to Lipscomb County. Eva married J. Everett Shahan and Mary married Percy E. Hill.
