When Emmet Lee Holliday was born on November 21, 1892, in Arkansas, his father, John, was 45 and his mother, Missouri, was 35. He had three sons and two daughters with Velma Dee Brock Holliday between 1926 and 1934. He died in 1968 in Wilbarger, Texas, at the age of 76.
