When William Willie Burton Parrigin was born on May 30, 1908, in Overton, Tennessee, his father, William, was 29 and his mother, Mary, was 25. He married Betty Weirman on August 14, 1935, in Magoffin, Kentucky. They had three children during their marriage. He died on December 15, 1979, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 71.
