When Alma Margaretha Beisert was born on April 29, 1890, in Texas, her father, August, was 31, and her mother, Hanna, was 33. She had seven sons and eight daughters with Edward William John Knippa between 1910 and 1930. She died on October 5, 1965, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 75, and was buried there.
