When Emil Otto Bernhard Graf was born on January 14, 1888, in Warda, Texas, his father, Johann, was 23 and his mother, Anna, was 20. He married Hulda H Foerster on November 21, 1912, in Vernon, Texas. They had two children during their marriage. He died on December 14, 1970, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 82, and was buried there.
