Bonnie Schroeder Phillips, 85, of Victoria, died Friday, October 11, 2002.
She was born Nov. 12, 1916 in Thalia, to the late Otto and Mary Balko Schroeder. She was a graduate for Baylor School of Nursing. She was a retired school nurse for Vernon ISD and a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Vernon.
Survivors: husband, Floyd Phillips; daughter, Jan Phillips of Victoria; son, Jerry Phillips of Floresville; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by: son, Cary Phillips; parents; sisters, Emma Schroeder and Alma Woodruff; and brothers, Alfred Schroeder, Ewald Schroeder and Henry Schroeder.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Sullivan Funeral Home chapel in Vernon.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Wilbarger Memorial Park, The Rev. Sam Tullock officiating. Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Victoria, 361-573-4546.

When Floyd Phillips and his twin brother Lloyd were born on February 22, 1920, in Vernon, Texas, their father, William, was 34, and their mother, Mary, was 37. He had six brothers and two sisters. He died on October 12, 2004, in Victoria, Texas, at the age of 84, and was buried in his hometown.
