When Ralph James Adams was born on November 1, 1907, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, his father, James, was 44 and his mother, Rocksy, was 37. He had three children with Tommye Rowland. He died on June 6, 1990, in Wilbarger, Texas, at the age of 82.
