MARY KATHERINE "KAY " BARNETT was born on September 18, 1919, in Paris, Texas. She married JOHN WAYNE RAINWATER on July 11, 1942, in Vernon, Texas. They had two children during their marriage. She died on March 7, 2016, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 96, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.

When JOHN WAYNE RAINWATER was born on June 29, 1913, in Oklaunion, Texas, his father, ROSCOE, was 29 and his mother, GERTRUDE, was 28. He married Mary KATHERINE "KAY " BARNETT on July 11, 1942, in Vernon, Texas. He died on June 19, 1996, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 82, and was buried in Texas. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, WW II.
