When Truman Jordan Davidson was born on February 27, 1919, in Fargo, Texas, his father, William, was 28 and his mother, Hollie, was 24. He married Melva Jean Strickland on February 18, 1950, in Vernon, Texas. He died on July 25, 1980, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 61.
