DARROUZETT- Ruth Herber Gooch, 82, died Sunday, May 6, 2007.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Darrouzett Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Mrs. Gooch was born Dec. 21, 1924, in Lipscomb County. She was a homemaker a wonderful cook and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Gooch; a daughter, Nancy Whithe of Darrouzett; four brothers, Ed Herber of Arvada, Colo., Harry Herber of Amarillo, Lee Herber of Panhandle and Gary Herber of Buhler, Kan.; a sister, Josephine Hancock of Chase, Kan.; two grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 401 Plummer St., Darrouzett, TX 79024; or Ochiltree Hospice Volunteers, 3101 Garrett Drive, Perryton, TX 79070.
