OBITUARY
Wanda HITT, 60, of Darrouzett, died March 16, 1999 at Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 20, at First Baptist Church in Darrouzett, with Rev. Gary McDonald officiating. Burial was in Darrouzett Cemetery, under the direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.
She was born November 20, 1938 in Claremore, Oklahoma, and grew up in Big Lake and Borger, graduating from Borger High School in 1957. She was employed as a sales clerk in Borger until marrying Haskel HITT on May 10, 1958. They lived in Borger until 1969, when they moved to Darrouzett.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, and a past member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Haskel, of the home; one son, Michael Dean HITT of Jackson, Michigan; one daughter, Rhonda HOWARD of Amarillo; and six grandchildren.
