Lou Rae HUDSON, 66, of Darrouzett, died June 2, 1994.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 4, at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Darrouzett, with Rev. Gary McDonald officiating. Burial was to be in Darrouzett Cemetery under the direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Service.
She was born May 14, 1928 in Satanta, Kansas, and the family moved to Perryton where she attended school. The.family then moved to Beaver County, Oklahoma, and she graduated from Darrouzett High School in 1945.
She married Don L. HUDSON April 7, 1947. She operated Lou's Place cafe for many years, and later operated Lou's Corner Drug in Darrouzett.
She is survived by one son, Jerald HUDSON of Darrouzett; one daughter, Ronda BORN of Darrouzett; one brother, Bud JENNINGS of Woodward, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mary Ellen MASCHMEIER of Turpin, Oklahoma, Emy SINGHISEN of Woodward, Oklahoma and Edene HEATHMAN of Grapevine; four grand-children; and one great-grandchild.
