When Carrie Mathilda Knippa and her twin sister Carolina Carolyn Mathilda were born on April 10, 1913, in Giddings, Texas, their father, Edward, was 25 and their mother, Alma, was 22. She married Frank Wolf on July 29, 1939, in Lee, Texas. She died on August 30, 1994, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 81.
