Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery
Nueces County,
Texas

December 28, 1929 - March 3, 2017

With her family by her side, Inocencia P. Castillo went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2017. Known as Mom, Mrs. Castillo, Ino, Ama, & Grandma Castillo, she lived by example and taught all to do the same as the scripture passage in Joshua 24:15 that reads, "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.”

A long-time parishioner at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church, Strong Prayer Group member, the rock of her family, and a deeply religious woman driven by her Catholic faith. She was always there to help her family, friends, neighbors and those in need. She is joining her Lord in Heaven, but her legacy of faith and care for others carries on through her family and all those she helped.

One of nine children, she was born on December 28, 1929 to Manuel and Victoriana Palomo. She is preceded in death by her husband Francisco Castillo, her parents, and six siblings.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel with a continued visitation at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church at 6:00 p.m. Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
