DARROUZETT - Lou Anne JOHNSON, 67, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, in Amarillo.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with Chris Ford, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
Mrs. JOHNSON was born in Fort Morgan, Colo., on Dec. 22, 1934, to C. D. and Ruth GARVER. She attended Fort Morgan High School and graduated in 1953. She was employed by Wells Lamont Glove Factory.
She married Bill JOHNSON on Aug. 1, 1954, at First Christian Church in Fort Morgan. They followed his work in the oil field in several states before moving to Darrouzett where they have made their home for the last 35 years.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors of America and a former member of Order of the Eastern Star. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth GARVER of Fort Morgan; and a brother, Gordon GARVER of Fort Morgan.
Survivors include her husband, Bill JOHNSON; three daughters, Cheryl TRENFIELD and husband, Steve, of Amarillo, Cathy COLLAR and husband, Randy, of Darrouzett and Christina LAURIE and husband, Lance, of Booker; her father, C. D. GARVER of Fort Morgan; a brother, Clifford GARVER and wife, Pat, of Fort Morgan; a sister, Linda IUNGERICH of Fort Morgan; and seven grandchildren, Aaron TRENFIELD and wife, Shannon, Tracy TRENFIELD, Bryce TRENFIELD, Brandy COLLAR, Jennifer COLLAR, Anna COLLAR and Kinsey LAURIE.
The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church of Darrouzett.
