When Mary Jewell Riddle was born on September 18, 1905, in Vernon, Texas, her father, William, was 23, and her mother, Eva, was 17. She married Charles R Neal (1903–1934)(Cancer Rectum) on September 5, 1922, in Vernon, Texas. She then married Hugh Owen Rape, on October 27, 1937, in Altus, Oklahoma. She died on August 31, 2002, in Waco, Texas, at the age of 96.
When Hugh Owen Rape, was born on September 4, 1912, in Pittsburg, Texas, his father, Augustus, was 27 and his mother, Mildred, was 21. He married Mary Jewell Riddle on October 27, 1937, in Altus, Oklahoma. He died on February 18, 1983, in Chillicothe, Texas, at the age of 70.
