When Cherokee Virginia 'Cherry' German was born on September 2, 1909, in Tipton, Oklahoma, her father, Grandison, was 24, and her mother, Jewell, was 19. She married Alexander Weldon Bailey 'Buster' Kincheloe on July 7, 1926, in Wilbarger, Texas. They had three children during their marriage. She died on January 31, 1953, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 43.

When Alexander Weldon Bailey 'Buster' Kincheloe was born in February 1907 in Vernon, Texas, his father, James, was 54 and his mother, Margaret, was 46. He married Cherokee Virginia 'Cherry' German on July 7, 1926, in Wilbarger, Texas. They had three children during their marriage. He died on December 23, 1950, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 43, and was buried in his hometown.
