When Charles Benjamin Babbitt was born on November 15, 1918, in Brownwood, Texas, his father, Charles, was 28 and his mother, Maggie, was 32. He married Norma B Adams and they had four children together. He also had one daughter with Serenia Isabelle Babbitt. He died on March 29, 1970, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 51, and was buried there.
