Funeral service for Gloria Faye Bingham, age 84, of Lamesa, TX., will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Loop Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Bingham officiating. A private family interment will immediately follow at Loop Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.

Gloria passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 in Lamesa, Texas surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born July 3, 1937, in Tahoka, Texas to George and Ora (King) Ingram.

She married Jerry Phillip (Jake) Bingham on November 28, 1957 in Ashmore, Texas, they were married 47 years.

Gloria lived at Cedar Lake for over 47 years with her Jake. Together they enjoyed farming and raising cattle. She loved her garden of beautiful flowers and her turtles. Becoming a granny was the light of her life and she loved every moment she spent with her precious grandchildren.

She was a member of the Ashmore Baptist Church from 1957 to 2005. After moving to Lamesa in 2006, she became a member of the Northside Baptist Church. Gloria taught Sunday School, Bible School and Vacation Bible School for many years. Her love for her Savior was very evident in what she did for others. Gloria never met a stranger and anyone who ever had the privilege of meeting her was affected by the love in her heart.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Jake.

Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
