Mike was born May 16, 1953 to Arvel & Elvia Fleming in Brownfield, Texas. He attended school in Loop, Texas. He married the love of his life, Laverne Bingham on April 17, 1970 at the Ashmore Baptist Church. They had 4 children Starla, Katina, Cody & Bryan. Mike was an airman in the Air Force in the early 70's. Mike owned and operated Fleming Garage & was a mechanic & school bus driver for the Springlake/Earth school district. He & his father had a love of motorcycles & airplanes. They would build single engine airplanes (J3 Cubs for example) from scratch. They both loved to fly the planes they built. He loved to travel & was always on the move. He moved back to Loop from Earth in 1997. He passed from this life December 11, 2004 from lung cancer at his home surrounded by his kids & grandkids.
