Gloria Lara Eden, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 peacefully at her home in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Gloria was born on March 31, 1938 to Dolores and Pedro Lara. She graduated from Ray High School in 1957. Gloria was employed by Sanger Harris and Foley’s. She will always be remembered for decorating, volunteering, traveling, serving the Lord by being a Eucheristic Minister and the Prison Ministry. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and cousin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dolores and Pedro Lara, sisters Cruz Garcia, Rebecca Lara- Fizzell; brothers Joseph Lara, Albert Lara, Eduardo Lara; and her beloved daughter Sondra Eden Scotch.
Gloria is survived by her beloved husband, David T. Eden; son David A. Eden (wife Brenda), daughter Dee Schueler (husband Mark), son Robert Eden (wife Carolyn), son-in-law Gene Scotch; grandchildren from David: Kimberly, Daniel, Michael, from Dee: Jessica, Derek, Mark Jr.; from Rob: Lance, Eliana, Andrew, Lexi; from Sondra: Jared, Nicholas; great grandchildren: Brandon, Amber, Vanessa, Maxwell, Chandler, Dawson, Deklan, Denson and Alice; sisters: Timotea Rivera, Felicitas Carreon and brother Juan Lara.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019 at St. Paul the Apostlic Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
