Allen Ray Shearer, 90, of Crawford, TX passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 in Hillsboro. Allen was born to Hugh and Estella (Allen) Shearer on April 15, 1924 in Pilot Point, TX. He served in the United States Army and worked as a farmer.
Allen is survived by one sister, Fondell Shearer Seals and husband, Jay Seals of Grapevine, TX; one-sister-in-law, Dorothy Shearer Feucht of Denton, TX; two nephews, Donald Ray Seals and wife, Tammy of Joshua, TX; and Kit Shearer and wife, Diana of Denton,TX. Also surviving are two nieces, Barbara Trenkle and husband, Steve of Grapevine, TX and Lisa Snelling and husband, Dale of Waco, TX; plus eight great nieces and nephews.Allen is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Keith Shearer.
Graveside services for Allen are scheduled for Monday, June 2, 2014 at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX. Services are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, TX.
