Funeral Mass for Alvin (Beno) Gusman, age 54 of Wolfforth, Texas will be celebrated Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Paul Karieakatt officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at St. James Catholic Church Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Mr. Gusman was born September 30, 1962 in Seagraves, Texas to Eloisa (Martinez) and Roman Guzman. He married Delma Escobedo October 13, 1984 in Seminole. He was a Catholic and worked as a truck driver and supervisor. Alvin was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, win or lose. He loved barbequing and spending time at the lake watching football with his family; his wife, children and grandchildren were the world to him.
Alvin Gusman passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Raymond Gusman. He is survived by his wife, Delma Gusman of Wolfforth, Texas; two daughters, Kimberly Rodriguez and husband Mario of Wolfforth, Texas and Melinda Gusman of Wolfforth, Texas; two brothers, Servando Gusman and wife Martha of Wellman, Texas and Paul Gusman of Seminole, Texas; two sisters, Sylvia Gallegos and husband Manuel of Houston, Texas and Yolanda Esquivel and husband Daniel of Loop, Texas; and four grandchildren, Adrian Rodriguez, Noah Rodriguez, Elijah Rodriguez, and Tristian Gusman.
