Funeral services for Wallace Powers , 90, of Seminole were conducted Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel, with Chris Jones officiating and assisted by Jimmy Stevens. He passed away Tuesday, February 9 in Seminole. Services were under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.

Wallace was born October 18, 1925 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Roy Arthur Neil and Mary Davis Powers. Wallace served in the United States Navy from 1944-1946. Wallace and Katie Wise were married February 14, 1953 in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was a member of the Avenue B Church of Christ, he was a pumper for Mobil Oil for 40 years, a former VFW member, and had coached Little League Baseball for many years. Wallace was preceded in death by his wife Katie Powers on November 24, 2005, two sisters Mary Lou Butler and Susie Shultz, also two brothers Jerry Neil Powers and Donald Ray Powers.

Wallace is survived by two daughters Connie Lambert and her husband Raymond of Seminole, Donna Hilburn and her husband Kent of Greenville, Mississippi; two sons Kenny Powers and his wife Jeanie of Andrews, Troy Powers and his wife Irma of Hurst; one brother Freddie Powers and his wife Catherine of Florabama, Florida and one sister Norma Jean Marlow of Houston, along with 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
