Funeral Mass for Paul Gusman, age 56 of Seminole, Texas will be celebrated Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Paul Karieakatt officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. Rosary will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 7 to 8 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Gusman was born November 10, 1960 in Seagraves, Texas to Eloisa (Martinez) and Roman Guzman. He graduated from Loop High School in 1980 and worked for the City of Seminole for twenty-three years as well having worked for the Seminole Sentinel for thirteen years; he had also sold fireworks for TNT for twenty years. Paul was always known for helping others and never knew a stranger. In his spare time he enjoyed playing basketball, softball, and soccer, and spending time with his family, friends, and grandchildren.
Paul Gusman passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers. He is survived by, one son, John Paul Gusman of Seminole, Texas; one daughter, Amanda Carrillo and husband Israel of Seminole, Texas; one brother, Servando Gusman and wife Martha of Wellman, Texas; two sisters, Sylvia Gallegos and husband Manuel of Houston, Texas; Jolanda Esquivel and husband Daniel of Loop, Texas; two grandchildren, Izayah and Aliyah Carrillo of Seminole, Texas; Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
