Funeral services for Estevan Gonzales, age 87 of Seminole, Texas will held Monday, October 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at West Side Church of Christ with Minister Ray Young officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Gonzales was born December 26, 1928 in San Angelo, Texas to Rosa (Hernandez) and Leonides Gonzales. He married Emilia Victoriana Saldana on November 21, 1949 in Seminole. He worked as a custodian for United Technology Center in San Jose, California, and had lived in Seminole for twenty years, moving from Modesto, California. He was a dedicated family man; he helped raise his grandchildren, and felt his family came first in everything. He was a Christian who read the bible often and loved God; he was always telling people about God. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing and made his own tackle; he also enjoyed wood working. He was known as a man with many traits, always building and fixing things.

Estevan Gonzales passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Seminole Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Raul Gonzales and Candilario Landin, Jaun Landin; three sisters, Mariana Landin, Syria Sanchez, and Catarina Munoz; and by one grandson, Armando Gonzales.

He is survived by his wife, Emilia Gonzales of Seminole, Texas; two sons, Valentin Gonzales and wife Elfida of Rock Spring, Texas and Estevan Gonzales, Jr. and wife Maggie of Corpus Christi, Texas; five daughters, Alicia Humada and husband Santos of Seminole, Texas, Siria Gonzales of Seminole, Texas, Elizabeth Gonzales of Modesto, California, Paula Hernandez of Napa Valley, California, and Anita Kimbrue and husband Bill of Stockton, California; two brothers, Arturo Gonzalez of Odessa, Texas and Jose Gonzalez and wife Elizabeth of Carmichael, California; one sister, Bernardina Ramirez of San Angelo, Texas; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Emilia Gonzales, age 85 of Seminole, Texas will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Un Altar para Jesucristo in Seminole with Pastor Concepcion Trevino officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery in Seminole. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole, Texas.

Mrs. Gonzales was born December 23, 1931 in Martindale, Texas to Isabel (Galvan) and Dario Saldana. She married Estevan Gonzales on November 21, 1949 in Seminole, Texas. She was Pentecostal, and a homemaker. Emilia loved crafts, sewing, and participating with fundraisers for her church; she also loved going fishing with her husband. Her home was always open to anyone, and she always greeted them with a smile. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and her brother.

Emilia Gonzales passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Estevan Gonzales in 2016; six brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two sons, Estevan Gonzales Jr. and wife Maggie of Corpus Christi, Texas and Valentin Gonzales and wife Elfida of Rock Springs, Texas; five daughters, Alicia Humada and husband Santos of Seminole, Texas, Siria Gonzales of Seminole, Texas, Elizabeth Gonzales of Modesto, California, Paula Hernandez of Napa Valley, California, and Anita Kimbrue and husband Bill of Stockton, California; one brother, Jose Saldana and wife Francis of Seminole, Texas; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
